Automation Engineer – AgriTech

Job Description

  • Research technology applications, and design and develop automation systems for high-tech agriculture projects: greenhouses, automatic irrigation systems, environmental control systems (light, temperature, humidity, etc.), and nutrient dosing systems.
  • Supervise construction, perform testing, acceptance, and handover to ensure systems are operating stably.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, and Agriculture & Environment, to ensure optimal system integration.
  • Propose improvements to enhance system performance and durability.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Board of Directors and Department Heads.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Control & Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or Information Technology.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the electrical and automation fields.
  • Proficient in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and microcontroller programming. Possess a solid understanding of control system design and simulation.
  • Good command of English (TOEIC 600 or equivalent), with the ability to read, understand, and draft technical documents.
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset, ability to work under pressure, and a spirit of continuous learning and creativity.
  • Willingness to travel to the company’s project sites.
